Cold PARK, FROZEN FINGERS

Yesterday, we were the only two dogs in the entire park, and Joan was the only human. Wow, that cold air off the frozen lake felt so good. I could have walked forever, but Joan kept complaining that her fingers were going to freeze dry and break off. Saki was all excited about the hundreds of geese and scurrying squirrels and quacking ducks. In fact, no one was cold but Joan. This new exercise craze of mine is really working for me.

Today was another story. We didn't do much of anything but hang around the house. Saki played a little frisbee at lunch time and sulked when we were stuck in the house. Me? I just took many long naps to make up for yesterday's adventure.

Best wishes on a cold day, Juno

A Walk in the Park

Saki trying to make me playful (sometimes he succeeds).

For the first time in over a year, I consented to go to the park and take in the lake air. Wow, that wind was cold, but we all braved it. Saki wanted to chase the geese, but they flew up and away before he could spring into action. Before we left for the park, Joan made the first video ever of me and Saki. It's here if you want to see it.

Anyway, I'm proud of my adventuresomeness and might even continue these little romps in the park. Could I be getting younger?

Best wishes, Juno
